Oboy Spirit steals show at Free De Mic 🎤 page 1.

 


Out of the lot of artists who graced Sedi Empire's Free De Mic 🎤 page 1 last Friday night, the one rapper who seems to have caught the eye of most revelers is 'Oboy Spirit'. 

The plorific rapper who exudes confidence showed so much dexterity on the mic, leaving a lot of the audience in awe of his talent. 

A lot of people were happy to be at event and prayed the organisers for more, instead of the old fashioned jams Kukuom had become noted for.

Artists trill fans at Sedi Empire's Free De Mic 🎤 page one in Kukuom.



Free De Mic 🎤 page one, a Sedi Empire initiative to help develop artists in the Ahafo region came off last night at the Jamborees night club in Kukuom.
The event which is the first of the it's kind in the region experienced a slow start cos most patrons had no idea what an "open mic session" was really about. 
The finally came alive when artist after another took to the stage to WOW the audience with breathtaking performances. 

A source close to the Sedi Empire has revealed, plans are already underway for "Free De Mic 🎤 page Two".

Jamboree Night club to host Free De Mic 🎤.



After hosting a successful independence night jam, the Jamboree night club which has been an entertainment hub in the Asunafo south district, Kukuom to be precise for the past two years at least, has asserted it's readiness and capacity to host Free De Mic 🎤 page one, come Friday 10th March. 

So far, everything is in place for the show and organisers are promising patrons nothing short of an amazing night. 
It is their hope that the artists and community as a whole get to embrace Free De Mic 🎤 so it grows hand in gloves with the artists and the community on life long journey.

Sedi marks 5 years of "Think 2wice".

 


The multitalented and multitasking artist, Komfopanyin Sedi, marks 5 years of the release of his single, "Think 2wice" tomorrow 5th March. 
The song which was done on the Jamaican think twice rythme, was recorded and mastered by Khemit House of Music (KHM) and had Sedi rapping in three different languages. 
The independent artist who also happens to be the brain behind "Free De Mic 🎤", a mini concert for upcoming artists in the Ahafo region is super delighted as it sets a celebratory mood till Friday 10th March when Free De Mic 🎤 page 1, happens.

Sketches signs up to Free De Mic.

 A dancer and choreographer, Sketches has joined the long list of artists willing to entertain audience at the maiden edition of Free De Mic, dubbed, 'Free De Mic 🎤 page one'. 

Sketches who hails from the Ashanti region of Ghana but now resides in Kwapong in the Ahafo region sees Free De Mic as an avenue for artists in the region to grow and has lauded the organisers of the event for their efforts. 

On his part, the dancer says it's an opportunity for him to show his new community what he is made off and more. 

He has therefore urged his fellow artists to embrace Free De Mic as he believes it's what performing artists need in Ahafo right now.

Kukuom to come alive on 10th March.

Kukuom, one of the oldest traditional towns in the Ahafo region will 'come alive' on the 10th of March as it welcomes artists from across the region to "Free De Mic 🎤".

The maiden edition of the event will be happening at the Jamboree night club, under the umbrella of the O. B. 1 group.

It promises to be an evening of surprises as artists from across the region continue to confirm their participation in the event. An insider from the camp of Sedi Empire has revielled names like Oboy Spirit and Juice from Ahafo-Mim and the Allo dancers from Kukuom. 

Others are Humble and One Taste from Bibiani and Manasseh who will be opening the show with some sweet country music.

Free De Mic 🎤 which is a Sedi Empire initiative is an avenue, platform or stage for artists to meet, network, interact with the community through performances of all kinds and to  reenergize their creativity. 

Free De Mic 🎤 will come off once every month with dates duly communicated. 

NOTE: Free De Mic 🎤 is NOT a money making venture and proceeds will go into catering for artists on the night and into other art and artists development programs.
